Up-Cycled Easter Chick Treat Frap Bottle

How adorable is this up-cycled frap bottle turned into a treat container for Easter.  I used the chick in my licensing portfolio as inspiration and of course for the yellow candy, one of my favorites…lemon heads.  (Yellow jelly beans would work great too).

I gathered my supplies from around my studio checking back in with my portfolio for colors and such.

Then I cut out the wings and beak from Kunin felt in orange and yellow.  I used Black Beauty buttons from my Laura Kelly collection for eyes.

I attached the pieces to the bottle with Aleene’s Tacky Glue.

To make the clay flower that the chick (disguised as a bunny) has in my portfolio I used Sculpey clay.

I created a bunny for Buttons Galore and More’s Fifteen MINUTE Friday too.  You can check it out here.

Happy Up-cycling Glass Frap Bottles into Treat Jars!
