DIY Doll Beach Bags – modkid Summer Fun

It is out and ready to be purchased… Patty Young’s modkid Summer Fun book with seven super stylish projects for 18″ dolls.  I was lucky enough to receive one of the very first copies to create a project to share.

I fell in love with the beach bag and decided to make inside-out matching ones for my girls’ and their favorite dolls.

The book is very beginner friendly if you are new at the sewing machine like me.  The projects are adorable and the directions are well written with great pictorial descriptions of the steps.

We had a lot of fun sewing the beach bags but even more fun playing with them and taking the dolls on a hike to the creek.

I am sure they will accompany us to the pool and the beach when it warms up.

If you want to win a copy of the book with all of the patterns and directions as well as Westcott scissors and fun sewing products, you can enter here.  A winner will be drawn on April 15th.

Happy Sewing and Creating Doll Summer Fun,
